一、前言
歡迎來到Kamelot靈藥鬼詩系列的第三篇，
在這次的系列中，
我想要介紹的是Kamelot的第九張專輯 --- Poetry for the Poisoned(靈藥鬼詩)。
而今天要介紹的是專輯中的第五首歌 --- Hunter's Season(獵人之季)，
是本專輯的高人氣歌曲之一。
二、歌曲介紹
雖然說在本張專輯當中，
大多數的曲子的主題，
都與主唱Roy Khan當下的心理狀態有關，
不過本首歌倒是個例外，
本首曲子與吉他手兼團長Thomas YoungBlood反而有較大的關聯。
話說在本張專輯的製作期間，
吉他手Thomas的母親不幸離世，
於是為了紀念自己的母親，
Thomas便為她寫下了Hunter's Season這首歌。
與本張專輯其他歌曲的黑暗獵奇風格不同，
Hunter's Season所談論的，
是對於往生者的緬懷之情、
是母子面對挑戰的共患難之情、
是對於養育之恩的感謝之情，
因此即便本首歌以親人身亡為主題，
你卻反而會感受到這首曲子在情緒上反而是較為明亮的，
在色調極為黑暗的本張專輯中，
有如一絲獨自照耀的微光。
三、歌詞翻譯

當被盛怒延燒時。

【注釋】
主角與母親互相保護、互相尊重，
此段主要描述主角與母親的關係和諧，
並且地位對等如好友。

因為我們總是孤獨的，
我們誕生於獵人之季。

【注釋】
Thomas的父親比母親更早逝，
因此當母親臨終時，
身邊沒有伴侶的陪伴，
因此沒有一雙「懷抱著妳的手」。

四、心得
雖然然Kamelot向來都不是喜歡玩混合節拍的數學搖滾團，
不過在這首Hunter's Season當中，
卻出現了大量的混合節拍，
是本專輯中構曲技巧最為複雜的其中一首歌曲。
在整首曲子中，
主歌的結構最為複雜，
它以5拍子為主體，
卻又混雜了一些6拍子的小節，
具體而言可以說是5+5+5+6的排列組合，
就像這樣:
像這樣5+5+5+6的節拍組合，
在本曲中頻繁出現，
它們分別位於第一段主歌(0:47~1:04)、
第一段副歌後面的小間奏(1:39~1:47)、
第二段主歌(1:47~2:04)、
以及最後的outro(4:41~5:15)。
可以說，
這段5+5+5+6的節拍組合是本首歌曲的「main riff」。
(意思就是貫穿整首歌曲、且反覆被彈奏的旋律線)
除此之外，
本首歌的副歌(1:13~1:39)採用的是最簡單的4拍子，
Pre-chorus(1:04~1:13)則採用3拍子，
如此複雜的節拍組成，
全部串在一起卻能夠做到通順、不突兀，
可以說這首歌把混和節拍給用到極致的地步了。
