Hello,it’s Annie!
Today I want to talk about my first BABYMETAL birthday concert - it was for MOMOMETAL!
Actually, when Legend MM was announced last year after NEX_FEST, I wasn’t going to attend
Because I was out of money!🥹🙌
But my friends encouraged me, and I was already very tempted because this time there would be many other mates from Taiwan.Somehow, I have become known as the “Leader of the Taiwan Expedition Group”, soit would not be living up to my name if I didn’t go!💥
I was so lucky that another generous Taiwan fan gifted me a ticket, so I was able to attend! And so with 2 months to plan, Iset off on another trip to Japan!
Let me begin by talking about what I remember from the concert,
because I forget so quickly after it’s over!
(P.S. be warned that I am super biased for SU-METAL!)
I had great views from the seated area on both nights,
one day on the left side and one day on the left side
(so thankful!)
Day 1 (March 1)
#1 BABYMETAL DEATH
I finally saw the crosses I’d been dreaming of!
I really like the Kami solo sections at thebeginning of the song, it’s so cool!
I was so excited to see SU-METAL on the cross(eh?), and the transparent design was super duper cool, seeing all 3 of them oncrosses together, and the lights were synced with the beat!
#2 Megitsuneメギツネ
The entire arena chanted “sore sore sore!”together, and in the midst of the song, MOA saw me frantically waving my towel(which said “MOA IS THE BEST, MOMO SO CUTE” on it), and waved at me happily!
(I am so lucky my view was great)
#3 DA DA DANCE
As soon as I heard the intro, I screamed louder than anyone else in my section!
I had been praying for one of my favorite songs to come back, and Idanced together with them like I was crazy!
I had hoped they would play it during the 10BUDOKAN shows but they never did, and now I could see it for myself!
SU-METAL was cuter than ever!

#4 Shanti Shanti Shanti
Just as good as expected; their “neck dance” part swere super cute.
Su is so silly in this song, I love it.🥹🥹
#5 Kagerou
I also screamed my lungs out when Kagerou began!
The Kami solo is super amazing, and I headbanged sohard I got dizzy!
Oh~~~ one of my favorite songs!
When they did the whole-body headbang I started crying so hard
And her solo section during the climax gave me an audio or gasm~
I love to headbang together with them for thissong, and their hand gestures when singing “I knew it” is so killerrrrr
Suzuka, you are the coolest!!!
So thankful so thankful💥🙌🥹🥹🥹🥹😇
#6 MAYA
This was the first time I saw this song performedon a large stage
OH MY GOD
SU-METAL’s hair went totally crazy about halfway through
(it was super obvious on the big screen)
It was so adorable I almost passed out
#7 BxMxC
Just as good as expected; SU-METAL is the coolestperson in the world
#8 Syncopation
I will cry and then die happy!
How did I unlock Syncopation?!?!
I had been disappointed that it didn’t appear at NEX_FEST!
When the intro began to play, the whole arenagasped, and when the heart rate graphic appeared on the screen (a newversion!), my pulse increased together with it in excitement!
I danced and danced, and flew out of my seat whenwe reached “FLYYYYY”😭💕💥
Their voices were so wonderful, and I bawled my eyes out
#9 Monochrome
It was very predictable that the “Sacred Goods”wristbands we received on entry were obviously going to be used here
But I have to admit, when the entire arena lit up,it was still so beautiful
And towards the end of the song,
Su finally saw the towel I had been waving so hard through out the concert!
(the one that says “I LOVE SU-METAL” on it)
She smiled at me!

This is the first time most of the Taiwan fans gotto experience this song live (my 3rd time, haha)
It is so much fun every single time, and SU-METAL’svoice becomes especially cute!
I love it when all 3 of them tell us to “get low”
And when MOMOKO growled... she slayed the entire arena!
Ahhhhhhhhh
Also, the Kami solo before the song is my veryfavorite!
#11 Gimme Choco
This is the song that never dies, they always perform it
When Su makes the heart pose...
Ah, my heart flutters
I danced throughout the entire song with them
#12 Doki Doki Morning
I heard this at my very first BABYMETAL concert oneyear ago at Makuhari!
I love this song too!
It is the cutest song ever

And when Su wakes up... just kill me now
She is the most adorable person in the worldddddd
#13 THE ONE
My first time hearing this song live!
And all 3 of them were wearing capes, and were sobeautiful in the sea of lights!

#14 Headbanger
Finally, 20 NIGHT for my beloved Momoko had arrived
The arena erupted in happiness as she descended from the sky
We all know how hard MOMO has worked quietly in the background all these years to support BABYMETAL as an anonymous Avenger
We all screamed when SU-METAL passed the mic to her
(also, being able to see SU-METAL bow down to MOMO... I cried so hard! How many chances do we have in a lifetime to see this special choreography, and see SU-METAL dance HEADBANGER?)
And then, when MOMOMETAL began to sing, she did itin a super cute voice!
WTF?!
And then as were were all enthralled by hercuteness, she then GROWLED!!!

My baby has grown up!
She’s become super super super cool
Anyway... this is what we came for!

#15 Road of Resistance
There is nothing cooler than seeing the three ofthem with the BABYMETAL flags
This is a song they absolutely must perform everytime
To be honest, I can’t really remember much aboutthis song, it was such a blur
But I remember getting very emotional as the crowdall went “WOW~ WOW” in unison
Finally, the three of them began goofing off onstage as we all shouted WE ARE? BABYMETAL! Together
I loved it when SU-METAL held the microphone before her so her two little sisters could shout together
I remember at the end, Su saw me waving my SU-METALtowel with all my might, and she waved and gave me a little smile beforerunning off

Day 2 (March 2)
“Kingslayer” was played as we entered the venue,which pumped us all up
#1 BABYMETAL DEATH
Same as yesterday
The fireworks made me jump on both nights
Thankfully this time I was on the left side, so Iwas able to enjoy a different view and cry some more as I saw SU-METAL on the cross
#2 Distortion
This is also a standard part of their typicalsetlist
Although Su did not call for a “big circle” today,we did it anyway, and going “WOW WOW” together was great!
SU-METAL was as immpressive as usual on the bigscreen!
#3 PA PA YA
Yes yes, another setlist staple
My seated section was full of other foreigners, andwe had a blast
I never stopped waving my towel
PA PA YA~~~~~🤘🤘🤘
#4 Elevator Girl
I hugged and screamed with my friend from PolandBrajan when we heard the intro
It’s been so many years since we’ve heard thissong!
Metal Galaxy is back!
I went up and down the elevator with them, so much fun
“Going up going down hell yaaaaaaaa”
#5 YAVA
We all screamed when the intro kicked in
Especially for the Kami solo, because it has also been such a long time
The solos were super cool! And this song is also super cute!
I almost passed out at how cute SU-METAL was, but Iheld it together
MOA & MOMO’s version of “YAVA” is also supercute
#6 BELIEVING
I wanted to cry so hard when I heard this song
Because we didn’t hear it last year in Taiwan
And I wanted to hear it so badly
I finally got it now!
Su messed up her hair after headbanging and once again I hugged my friends in happiness
It’s too cute, my heart can’t take it
(Yes, I am enamored by her messy hair)
And when she holds onto the microphone so tightly whenever singing “BELIEVING”, like a robot... it’s super cute!
The lyrics are also wonderful

#7 Brand New Day
I got to hear this for the first time at NEX_FEST
But this time we got a big screen and enjoyed the supergraphics and effects
It’s such a beautiful song and we sang the whole way through together with SU
#8 Starlight
This song also has amazing effects on the screen,as if we were surrounded by a starry sky
Oddly enough, this seemed like the perfect opportunity to activate our wristband lights but they didn’t do it? (ha)
When Su sang “remember I will be with you” I melted
We all went “nananana~” together
The big screens were used for effects only, without shots of the crowd or BABYMETAL
It was very beautiful, though I’m guessing the fansin the mosh’sh pit were confused,Because they can't see the BABYMETAL on stage.
#9 KARATE
I can’t believe I got a chance to hear this songfor the first time too!
When Su/Moa/Momo fell to the ground, Iinstinctively wanted to help them up; I can’t handle the parts of stories wherepeople suffer
“I’ll save you, Su-chan!”
They’re such good actors, you can feel the struggle
Going “wow~~~” together with the crowd was soemotional
I break down every time I see the 3 of the msupporting each other
You three are the best!
#10 METALI!! メタリ
This time I think they started the song from thesmall central stage
They adorably brought up the hype
The pair of Moa and Momo kept making funny faces,and Su’s cute voice makes me want to hug her
And she wiggled around as they told us to get low
Momoko’s growl was as intimidating as ever!
#11 Gimme Choco!!
The staple of every setlist
Anyway, I always dance the entire song; I’vebasically got all the dance moves memorize by now
This time I noticed Moa messing with Su, haha
#12 Doki Doki Morning
They unexpectedly performed this song again!
But I love it so they can perform it as many timesas they want
I died again when Su woke up
It’s so cute every single time I see it
#13 THE ONE
Just as beautiful as the night before
On the big screen, there was a holy feeling, as theentire arena lit up
#14 META TARO (MOMO TARO!!)
They played a birthday video for Momo-chan! (I can’tremember it very clearly, though)
It was so exciting to have this song back, and weall cried and shouted
The last time they performed this was back in 2018!
And Momo sang the opening lines all by herself in asuper kawaii voice
I cried again when the entire venue shouted M!E!T!A! Together

The three of them are so cute

#15 Arkadia
They used this song as the closer before, and it’ssuch a good choice
We all shouted “For your dream, for your faith, foryour life” together
You can’t help but feel emotional
Finally, SU-METAL shouted “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” to Momo
They were all smiles as they messed with the microphone, waving to everyone as they ran to the smaller central stage
They were having such a good time
It was such a lovely moment
That about covers the show itself
Now for some stories!
As I walked around the arena on Day 2, a Japanesefan called me over to the spot where apparently Sayashi Riho took a photoyesterday! We recreated the scene perfectly, as a nearby mate even lent me their glasses for authenticity!
I brought 3 flags to Japan this time, and a towel!(I know, it’s a lot)
I hope Momo enjoyed my special pink Momo birthday flag
(look at this lovely photo of me holding the Momoflag together with Berrymetal/PABYMETAL/DIZZYMETAL! They’re all so cute!)
Our Taiwan group was over joyed to get featured onthe big screen on Day 1, with our big Taiwan flags in both the seated and mosh’sh sections!
My “I LOVE SU-METAL” flag was also featured on the screen for over 5 seconds on Day 2!
The fans around me all clapped and cheered whenthey saw it!
They know that I am the Annie from Taiwan who lovesSU-METAL!
I felt so much love from the other internationalfans in our section
It was very moving and I was super happy
Did you see the Taiwan team, SU-METAL?
We finally made it!
I began planning for this trip together with otherfans 3 months ago
I’m really happy that a few of them were encouragedto attend this time after reading my show report from last year!
That is the best encouragement ever
At Makuhari in 2023, our Taiwan expedition teamconsisted of 5 members
And I was too shy and stood way in the back for the big group photo
Now, the other fans tell me to get front andcenter!
I found out this time in Japan that for some reason, a lot of fans recognize me!
For the first time ever, people would stop me allthe time to ask for a photo!
They’d go “Annie from Taiwan?!”
It makes me very happy to have so many friends
(look at all these lovely people!)
It also makes me happy that they joke that I am the“Leader of the Taiwan Expedition Team”
And that everyone liked the fan gifts I made
Besides admiring SU-METAL, hanging out with fansaround the world is the happiest thing about a concert in Japan
Some of them were friends I had met the year beforeat Makuhari
I also got to meet some of my favorite fan artists for the first time
You are all so precious to me
This time, the Taiwan Expedition Team had about 30people for Legend MM!
Even though I am your fearless leader (haha), I am nothing without you!
I’m just doing something I like, and for somereason people support me very much

I will continue to cheer for SU-METAL and BABYMETAL
I may not be good at many things
But I am good at being a crazy fan (haha)
This 3 day 3 night expedition went by so quickly
I took off at 1AM on March 2 for Haneda, and sleptat the airport until morning, heading straight for the arena
And then it was just non-stop photos and meet upsand fan gifts all day
I had a great time in Yokohama for two days, andleft many wonderful memories
(my seats were great!)
Here are some of the fan gifts I got!
I used Day 3 to tour Yokohama together with myfriend from Poland Brajan, who I had met last year at Makuhari
I got to go to the Red Brick Warehouse, Pia ArenaMM, and other important places in Sakura Gakuin and BABYMETAL’s history
