民主，你說民主？
Democracy? Democracy?
人民根本不需要民主，他們根本不想要民主。
Democracy is not what these people need – hell, it’s not even what they want.
美國近一個世紀以來不斷在國際間宣揚民主，但成功過幾次呢？一次也沒有！
America has been trying to install democracies in nations for a century, and it hasn’t worked one time.

Little things like we ought to be tolerant of those who disagree with us. We ought to be tolerant of those who worship a different god than us. That a journalist ought to be able to disagree with the President!
現在，你以為舉著某些基本教義美德的大旗，進到人家家裡，扔兩顆炸彈，推翻個獨裁者，就能讓那些國家開始變民主嗎？省省吧！
And you think you could just march into countries based on some fundamentalist religious principles, drop a few bombs, topple a dictator, and start a democracy?! Give me a break.
人民不要自由民主，他們要秩序、規則、保護。不管是入侵者或別的誰，只要能提供安全、受控的環境，人民就會甘受圈養。
People don’t want freedom. They want boundaries, rules. Protection. From invaders and from themselves. People need a leader who could give them both the support and the constraints to keep chaos at bay. You give them that, and they’ll follow.
