To installing texlive in linux without gui
First of all the need to installed gcc, gcc-c++, gcc-gfortran, perl, perl-Digest-MD5
execute install-tl and add options -no-gui such as
./install-tl -no-gui
after finishing installation, add the path to the bashrc
export PATH=/usr/local/texlive/2017/bin/<computer name>:$PATH
Then install other package by using command tlmgr
Install latex will auto install pdflatex,
tlmgr install latex
Maybe uninstall can also use
tlmgr uninstall latex
Want to update the package
tlmgr update --list
tlmgr update <package>
Finally test the latex from example on the internet
Using pdflatex will output pdf file
pdflatex <filename>
