阿凡達電影配樂專輯介紹

前一陣子我被阿凡達的配樂專輯版本搞得有點亂，花了點時間才搞懂大部分專輯的內容與定位，所以在這裡稍微介紹一下目前我已知的版本。

首先就是官方授權推出的商業販售版本：AVATAR Music From The Motion Picture(December 15, 2009)。

這張專輯最沒有疑問，因為是官方授權正式推出的，也是最容易方便取得的配樂專輯。不過就如專輯標題所述，這張專輯收錄的並不是完整版的電影配樂，僅是將部分精華擷取彙整到這張專輯中。但是這張專輯已經提供了大部分樂迷足夠多的聆聽樂趣了。

很快的，基於官方版本的原本內容又推出了一個比較稀有的Deluxe Edition(April 19, 2010)。

從Track List很容易就可以發現Deluxe Edition其實只是在第一個商業版本的基礎上再加上Track.15～Track.20的Bonus Track。

不過，這兩張專輯都還只是Music From The Motion Picture而已，真正的重頭戲將在第三張出現的專輯開始登場。

第三張開始的專輯都不是官方授權的商業販售版本，僅在網路上流傳或是能在拍賣網站上購得。

因為我目前完全找不到任何網路流傳的版本，所以無法對這張專輯內容作出任何評論。只針對一點提出來，就是本專輯封面雖寫著Complete Motion Picture Score，但是我目前看到的拍賣者所寫的標題都是用Recording Sessions，不太明白其中的原由。

有興趣的人可以買一張來試看看，拍賣者有貼出包裝內容的照片，也註明這專輯不是CD-R燒錄，CD封面似乎是拍賣者自製的。

嚴格來說，這張專輯才是第一張真正的Complete Score，幾乎的完整收錄電影中所使用的配樂，除了主題曲"I See You"和一首配樂""Eyes Open""。但對樂迷來說這已經是一張非常值得的專輯了。不過本專輯是專用於推廣，即使在拍賣網站上也是非常稀有的存在。

有謠言說，這套專輯是James Horner為了奧斯卡獎而作的。

本來以為到3CD版本推出已經是終點站了。但是，很快的又出現一個5CD的版本，來源未知，僅在網路上流傳。

從收錄的曲目與標題來看，多半可以得知這個版本是甚麼了。沒錯，這張5CD的專輯很有可能就是James Horner的工作版本。整張專輯零零總總收錄了97個曲目，長達4小時51分鐘的配樂，包含了許多最終未使用的配樂版本。

本來以為到了5CD的Collector's Definitive Edition應該是最後了，沒想到在寫這篇整理報告邊查資料的時候，又發現了一個新版本：6CD的Collector's Definitive Edition。

除了已知封面有多種之外，從曲目列表大致推斷，這版本應該是5CD版再加上第6張CD內所收錄的預告片配樂。

到了這種6CD的收錄等級，我想沒幾部電影有這種本事出到這樣誇張的收錄內容，應該也不會再有7CD之類的版本出現了吧～

2 CD那個是pressed CD，但音質是lossy的，相信是以mp3壓成(因為我花了40美元在ebay上買了，所以確認是有失真。而且end title兩首音軌間也有一個小gap)
3CD那個promo可能是真品，最初在ebay賣上2000美元，結果後來被發現是CDr。但音樂品質不明
5CD 那個才叫做recording sessions。 Recording Sessions即原始完整錄音。通常包括未收錄、未取用及未混音的音樂。
至於2 CD或3CD的，應該可叫做expanded Score(加長版)或complete Score(完整版)

哇～你真有勇氣，我是不敢花錢去買原始來源不明的東西
因為這些特殊版本我從未見過無損格式在流傳，所以根本就不敢買
更不用說，光mp3的流量就很多種，從128kbps~320kbps都有

2CD和3CD這兩個版本都是發布者自己號稱完整版的，就我個人聽過的感覺
3CD比較有資格稱Complete Score，2CD只能算Expanded Score

至於5CD那個版本就是有我說的，mp3流量很多種，不像是由實體光碟轉出的
比較像是經過某些方式拼湊出來的

還真的～當初完全沒注意到，因為2CD版是我最後才找到的(不論6CD版)
其實2CD沒聽幾遍，幾乎都是聽5CD或3CD比較多

兩個Track List只有一個曲目(Quaritch Takes Over)放的順序不一樣08-01 14:39

對了。另外，一般的promo版真品通常都不會有太多art work。你貼出來的那個3 CD版，最初有圖片的應該是翻製的bootleg
而下面那張白色的版本，因為cover的關係，所以看起來很像是真品

有些學院獎promo甚至連封面也沒有，只有封底
另一些則只有簡化、只有文字的封面(例如Far from Heaven)，或一般版相同的圖片，只是變成黑白色(例如Angela's Ashes、Apollo 13)
有些promo版是由專門制作promo的公司壓印的，所以雖然是不同電影，但CD表面上是差不多一個模樣的(例如Peter Pan、Love Actually)
另外，有些composer promo是由一些也有發行一般OST的公司製作的，Art Work會比較多色彩，價格較便宜及容易取得。例如 Supertrack 發行的U-571、Black Sheep或普買米修斯發行的White Fang 2和House of Frankenstein

嗯～很多Art Work確實都是樂迷自己做出來的，但不可否認有些Art Work作的比官方好

下面那張有白色封面的3CD promo是我在Avatar Wiki找到的，可信度蠻高的

不過，我不是很信任promo版本，因為有遇過裡面收的音樂很零碎、片段，可聽性幾乎等於零

還有，據稱有些真品的promo 版也是CDr。因此3CD那個即使是CDr，也不代表是假的。只是既然連Apollo 13的promo也是pressed CD，我想不出為啥Avatar要在這裡省錢。
尤其是，原本能放進兩張CD的音樂卻要用上3張CD(據稱是為了顯得音樂家寫了很多音樂)
